The Greatest food always comes from little out of the way joints. Lee's BBQ is just off HWY 156 in Haslet, TX. This place has, quite possibly, the BEST Bar-B-Que I have ever had... which says a lot coming from a lifelong Texan. It's a tiny little building with just a hand full of tables, no windows and the owner's kid doing their homework in the dining room. Little privately owned non-franchised joints like this are the best place to eat. Not only do the employees actually care about their restaurant, but you money is all going right to the local economy. It's really outstanding stuff... I urge anyone living in North Texas to take a little drive to Haslet for some Super good Food.
